TechPower IT Solutions, Inc. was formed in 1994 by Glen Jones and Chip Cantrell. Their desire was to utilize their combined knowledge and expertise in the technology field to offer premier IT solutions to Seattle-area businesses. They rapidly expanded from serving just local businesses to offering government solutions and services as well. Soon they partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) offering their technology solutions and services almost exclusively. Eventually, TechPower became an HPE Platinum Solution Provider. Today they are still offering HPE solutions as well as other technology solutions to their customers -such as Microsoft, VMWare, Lenovo, Aruba – and more.
For over 29 years Glen and Chip have led TechPower IT Solutions further into the Digital Age and they welcome expanding their knowledge as IT rapidly changes and evolves.

Glen Jones
Chief Executive Officer
Glen Jones is the founder of TechPower Solutions, Inc., an IT reseller of computer technology and services in the commercial and public sector markets in the Pacific NW. Glen moved to Washington State from Nebraska in the late 80’s and established an office in the NW for Overbyte Computers. He grew the operation as the GM/VP to over $8M in sales until 1994, when he founded TechPower in Redmond. The company opened its doors during the birth of his second son. Those early years of establishing the business without the benefit of the internet were a great challenge. Glen and his wife Darlene raised 3 kids, and Glen enjoyed coaching their baseball and softball teams. He enjoys the great outdoors in Washington, hiking, boating and fishing.
Chip Cantrell
Chief Technology Officer
Chip is a veteran IT professional proficient in Hewlett Packard Enterprise networking and engineering management. Chip earned his title as CTO of TechPower IT Solutions by starting out building white boxes for Amazon and Microsoft during the birth of the internet to learning how to build a complex IT environment in more advanced roles in tech. He’s now a Master ASE for HPE Networking proving his ability to provide anyone with the correct networking solution. Chip has never worked a job outside the technology industry which gives him nearly 40 years’ experience of the knowledge needed to execute a solutions build perfectly.
